Who is Bon Sirah?

Bon Sirah is a 22-year-old musician with big dreams and an even bigger love for music. Born and raised in Bergen op Zoom, he’s now living in Tilburg, where he’s studying at the Rock Academy and chasing his passion for creating music

As a person, Bon Sirah doesn’t take himself too seriously. He’s thoughtful when it counts but always ready to laugh at himself, often leaning into his self-deprecating humor to keep things light. He’s the type who likes to keep it chill, whether it’s cracking jokes with friends or unwinding after a long day with a pint at the local pub.

Outside of music, Bon Sirah has plenty of interests. He’s a regular at concerts and festivals, where he draws inspiration from the artists he admires. He’s also into craft beer, classic cars, motorsport, vintage guitars, darts, and coffee. Most of all, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, keeping things simple and down-to-earth.

His music reflects his personality: relatable, unpretentious, and honest. With Bon Sirah, what you see is what you get: a guy who loves music, enjoys life, and isn’t afraid to have a laugh along the way.

Experience

Being an artist is nothing new for Bon Sirah. Over the years he has already played some wonderful venues, performing at places and events like Gebouw T, Poppodium 013, MEZZ, Vestrock, BrandParkies, and Breda Barst. Most of his stage experience comes from playing with his other band, BUNKER, where he writes and performs heavier, 90s-inspired rock. With Bon Sirah, however, he’s taken a different direction, aiming to create music that appeals to a broader audience. He believes music shouldn’t just resonate with a select group, it should be something anyone can enjoy.

Bon Sirah’s journey with music started early. He picked up the guitar at the age of 8 and was already playing in his first bands by 13. Since then, he hasn’t stopped writing, performing, and evolving as an artist. With over a decade of experience on stage, he knows how to win over an audience and leave them walking away happy, no matter the setting.
